Cheesy Meat Lasagna
If you’re tired of Stouffer’s and are looking for a DELICIOUS homemade lasagna recipe, this is it! While preparation is a little lengthy (but it always is with lasagna), it’s a great meal to feed the whole family, and probably have leftovers. I recommend serving it with French garlic bread and a salad!

1 pkg lasagna noodles, cooked according to instructions
1 jar Spaghetti sauce
1 lb cooked hamburger or sausage
1 8 oz cottage cheese
1 can crushed or chunk tomatoes
3 cups mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
Cook noodles according to package instructions.
In a separate bowl, mix the cottage cheese with the eggs.
In the bottom of a 9×13 pan, spread some of the Spaghetti sauce. Then add a layer of noodles, followed by some of the hamburger or sausage. Then layer on some of the cottage cheese mixture, followed by another layer of meat. Then add a can of tomatoes, some more sauce and some mozzarella cheese.
Repeat the layers starting again with the noodles until all of the ingredients are used. End with mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese on top.
Cover with foil and store in freezer.
Let lasagna thaw in fridge before baking. If baking frozen, add additional baking time.
Preheat oven to 375 and bake covered for 45 minutes to an hour. Keep an eye on it and you’ll know when it’s done.
