I would run on the treadmill almost every day but you know what? It got pretty old. A lot of the time, I just wasn’t super excited to work out. I chose a show on Netflix (or use Amazon Video) that was completely, 100% binge-worthy. We’re talking about a show that leaves you on a cliffhanger at the end of pretty much every episode. Then I made a rule that I could only watch that show when I was working out, no cheating allowed!
Whether I was running on the treadmill or doing squats and lunges or pushups and sit-ups in my living room, I would get out my iPad or laptop and put on my binge-worthy show. The time would fly by and by the end of the episode, if my daughter was still sleeping, I would actually want to keep working out! I wanted to see what would happen next in my show!
Once your workout is over, it doesn’t matter how much of a cliffhanger you are left dangling on, you cannot watch what happens next until you’re once again working out! I’m telling you—this will make even the laziest among us count down the hours.
