It’s that time of year! The weather is warming up and the youngin’s and I have migrated outdoors to soak up the sunshine. This spring and summer I have a goal. That goal is to avoid buying any popsicles this summer. Why? Because they are so easy to make, and I can control the ingredients that go into them! Popsicles can be an easy way to get a bunch of sugar into your system, or it can be a healthy way to avoid cravings for all the junk that you shouldn’t be eating. It all just depends on what you put in them. Here’s a recipe that your kids are bound to love because of how bright and fun it is!
Quick Tip: Be careful buying popsicle molds, cheaper isn’t always better in the popsicle mold world. When buying, sort them in order from highest ratings and go from there. There are some really good molds that will last you forever, and then there are the cheapos that hang out right by the register at the grocery store. You want some that are dishwasher safe, can break apart separately once they are frozen (so you don’t have to use all of them at the same time), and drip guards are a bonus! Healthy All Fruit Popsicles Recipe
The best part about this all fruit popsicles recipe is that it is super simple and can be customized in a variety of ways. First, cut up your fruit and put them in your popsicle molds…then add your liquid. Throw them in the freezer and you are done! Here are some ideas for what to put in them:
