Background behind why I made the baby shower insert:
I've made it to week 3 postpartum! If I remember correctly from the first time, things should start getting a little bit easier 🙂 Something I've been wanting to do lately is compile together a bunch of yummy crock pot recipes. My least favorite thing after having a baby is deciding what to make for dinner every night and trying to plan it around the newborn's feedings. So I'm determined to go the next month living off of crock pot recipes so that I can just do my preparations in the morning whenever I have time. I polled all my Facebook friends for their favorite crock pot recipes, but I only collected around 6-8, so you will be my absolute best friend if you share one with me too!
Anyway…I got to thinking as I was trying to gather together some recipes, “Crock pot recipes. That's what new moms REALLY need at a baby shower!” And then I thought about those baby showers where they ask you to bring a children's book in lieu of a card. And I thought a crock pot recipe would be even better.
So I whipped up a little poem real quick and made my own baby shower insert for the next time I throw a baby shower.

So enough babbling, here's the baby shower insert for your invites! If you need some minor edits made (coloring, etc.) and I'm able, I will totally do that for you, just send me an email under the “contact” section of my blog!
