Many of you are aware by now that I am participating in the #LIGHTtheWORLD challenge this Christmas season. Sometimes I want to participate in awesome ideas, and then time gets the best of me, and opportunities pass. But this year, I wanted to make sure that NO MATTER WHAT I DO, this challenge is the focus of my Christmas, which is why Chelsey and I have been helping to prepare for this SINCE SEPTEMBER!
I believe that what we choose to focus on greatly affects others, whether good or bad, positive or ugly. I love this LIGHTtheWORLD challenge because it is meant for EVERYONE. the WHOLE WORLD in fact. You don’t have to be Christian and you don’t even have to be religious to participate. All you need is a desire in your heart to bring more goodness to our world. More kindness. And overall, to LIGHT THE WORLD in small and meaningful ways. I challenge all who read this to commit to taking on this challenge. I truly believe this could be the best Christmas season yet.

Pay It Forward- Christmas Style!
What would be better than taking on the LIGHTtheWORLD challenge yourself? Getting others involved. As you are going around doing acts of service to others, make sure to leave behind one of these pass-along cards so that they can get involved also!
Straw In The Manger
This would be fun to do alongside the #LIGHTtheWORLD challenges. For each act of kindness that your family does throughout the Christmas season, lay a straw in the manger. Hopefully by Christmas Eve, you have built a soft manger for baby Jesus to lay his head.
String Christmas Lights
Print off these adorable Christmas lights as a fun way to display your family “being a light.” You can have the family write the ways they are being a light, or things they are greatful for this holiday season!
