Christmas With a Spouse: Fun Ideas & Traditions

Okay, this post is a really fun one. I love Christmas lots and lots. It’s just a great time of year. It makes me sad when I hear people say they hate it or that it’s stressful, etc. It doesn’t need to be that way! If you need to simplify things, do whatever you need to do to make the holidays enjoyable for YOU! Christmas doesn’t have to be cookie cutter, and it doesn’t have to look a certain way. Just do what brings the true spirit of Christmas into your heart (even if it means ditching the neighbor gifts this year).

One thing I like about Christmas is celebrating LOVE. Love for your family and friends, love for Jesus Christ, and love for perfect strangers. Some of us get so into the commercial side of Christmas for our kids, that we forget to enjoy Christmas with our spouse! Because of that, I have provided a bunch of ideas to make Christmas meaningful for spouses or couples. Some of these are traditions, some gift ideas. Have fun with it, and most of all…have the most lovely Christmas season! The MOTHERLOAD of Christmas ideas for couples! Sometimes I get so wrapped up in the kids I forget to make holidays memories with my husband! These are so fun!

Traditions

Click on any of the links or photos below and they will take you to a bunch of different ideas for traditions to enjoy as a couple, as well as some fun ideas for gifts and stocking stuffers. I am always looking for new ideas for my husband each year and would love to know how each of you make the holidays special for each other!

I'm six-foot tall mother of three and I'm enjoying the view! I'm currently fighting a battle with Lyme disease and am determined to come out victorious. I enjoy warm summer rain, peanut butter everything, having dance parties with my husband and kids, natural remedies and healthy living. Most days I'm just looking for another excuse to avoid the piles of laundry.
