Deep Cleaning House with Deep Clean Cards
The most horrible part about deep cleaning your house, is the amount of time it takes to do it. This is likely because you have neglected really small tasks, that have built up to be something large. That’s okay, it’s easy to do. Which is why we created fast and deep clean cards. The idea behind using deep clean cards for deep cleaning house, is that you will be frequently deep cleaning each room so that it doesn’t have a chance to build up to something large and difficult. And the quick clean cards are for days when you are in a rush and just want to keep your house tidy.
I might suggest that you pick one day a week for deep cleaning, and on the rest of the days, you do a fast clean.
Deep Cleaning House the Easy Way: How to make the Reference Cards
To make your deep cleaning and fast cleaning reference cards, simply print out and laminate, or print out and put into sheet protectors. Laminators are really affordable these days, so I highly recommend having one! I have this one.
Once you have laminated or placed into a sheet protector, attach a binder ring and you are good to go! You can hang your cards in one place, or if you delegate chores in your home, I recommend having each card in it’s corresponding room (like on the inside of the cabinet using one of these hooks).

We are on our second week of using these cards. They are truly a life changer. I have had a cleaning lady for years. She just retired and our boys are now of the age that they can do much more. We have tried having them do jobs in the past, but something about these cards reduces the whining and complaining. What would take me 6 hours, takes our family about 1 1/2 hours. I LOVE THEM.
There are a few jobs that I would like to add to another card. Do you have a blank/ fillable template that we could create. For example, our bonus room and hallways.
Thank you for these. I am one happy mom.
