A Disney Scavenger Hunt for every Age: Hidden Mickeys and Other Secrets of Disneyland

If you’re planning a trip to Disneyland, make sure and check out our Disneyland Travel Guide! TONS of great stuff for preparing for your trip!

Disneyland is known as “the happiest place on earth,” so it’s no surprise that, when I asked a few of my closest friends what their summer plans were, they mentioned that they were planning a trip to Disneyland. It is one of the top tourist attractions in California, and the vacation dream of virtually every princess-obsessed 3-year-old in the world. Even those big, burly football players can’t get enough of Mickey Mouse – you ask a Super Bowl winner what they are going to do next, and the answer is, “I’m going to Disneyland!” In fact, I’d bet you the link to a YouTube video of me crying about cupcakes that you know someone who is headed to Disneyland this summer.

Disneyland is a special place, all right – there’s no doubt about that. One of the most special things about the park, though, are all the fun secrets of Disneyland, hidden Mickeys, and other hidden gems spread throughout. A person could spend days trying to find all of the hidden treasures (or “Easter eggs,” as they have been nicknamed). To make finding these secrets of Disneyland a little easier and to keep you and your kiddos thinking as you go through the park, I put together a couple of Disneyland scavenger hunts!

I have a 2-year-old at home, and since we are headed to Disneyland soon, I wanted to make a simple scavenger hunt that younger kids could enjoy.
Scavenger hunt for Disneyland park I know, though, that many older kids like the challenge of solving more difficult problems, so I put together another Disneyland scavenger hunt that’s perfect for kiddos six and older.

Alyx

Hi, I'm Alyx! I have two kids and a husband that I love more than anything in the world. I’m incredibly passionate about many things, including but not limited to, photography, Nebraska Football (go Huskers!), German, and the amount of pillows on “my side” of the bed (I have to have 4 – no more, no less). I am the type of person who gets way too involved in books. There are days where I have to cut myself off and remember that I live in the real world – you know, the one where bills need to be paid and work needs to be done. I don’t like chocolate, but bring me a bag of skittles and we’ll be best friends. I frequently get asked if I played basketball or volleyball. It could be because of my super athletic physique… or it could be the fact that I’m ridiculously tall. Yeah, it’s probably because I’m tall.

Love the scavenger hunt Aylx, I also have two kids and I may just copy your idea if you dont mind. We’ll be at Disney this summer and this just just seems perfect! I wanted to use my favorite Disney Paradox riddle but its a little too tough for kids and not much of a scavenger hunt haha. I can share it here with you, also thanks again: Pinocchio Paradox
