Since life got crazy and we missed celebrating Earth Day awhile back, I wanted to do a special post this work in Celebration of World Environment Day coming up on June 5th.
Now, I’m not a HUGE environmentalist, but I do believe in doing small things in our homes and communities that can be kinder to our Earth and natural resources.
In honor of that, I would like to highlight a few companies that do a good job of making their products Earth and environment-friendly.
At home with the kids? Instantly access any of these printable activity bundles to keep them learning!
Here’s a few fun products we have around our house:
I have to start with e-cloth because they are one of my favorites and have totally changed the way I clean. No more harmful cleaners in our house, and these microfiber cloths work so well (and have an awesome price point). I own several e-cloth sets and use them everyday.
We also really love The 100% cotton Muslin Crib Sheets and blankets from Miracle Baby not just because they’re breathable and gentle, but also SUPER SOFT! These are my go-to baby shower gift.
Reusable Snack Pouches are another great way to be kind to the Earth. I’m sure the statistic around our house would be that kids are average have about 3 trillion snacks a year (not really, but I think they ASK for one that many times). These are far more cost-effective than plastic baggies, and much better for the environment.
Rabbit Rally and the Canvas Teepee from Pacific Play Tents are next, because my kids love them. The teepee is is eco-friendly indoor or outdoor fun! This 100% cotton canvas teepee comes with well-varnished organic wooden poles for easy assembly and extra durability. Rabbit Rally is made with crafted game pieces made of beech wood from a sustainable forest in Germany and it’s one our family favorite games for our kids. And it’s quick to set up and easy to play.
