Adult coloring is all the rage these days. Many moms find it therapeutic and relaxing. Why not get together with other moms and make a night of it?
A few months ago I was talking to a friend that loves her coloring books, and I said, “someone needs to invent clothing that you can color!”
Little did I know that it already existed! It’s called Colorwear! Colorwear features 175 captivating designs by popular adult coloring book artists such as Valentina Harper and Angelea Van Dam and designs include mandalas that are oh so popular! And as a bonus, they are environmentally friendly! Woot!
After using Colorwear myself, here are some tips I have for you in case you want to throw a therapeutic girl’s night:
First, and most importantly….serve something yummy (might I suggest some brownie bites?):
Okay, now that we got that out of the way…here are my other tips:
1.) Ask everyone their T-shirt size ahead of time. That way you can make sure you have the right sizes. Once you have the sizes, order a size down. I found these to run LARGE!
2.) When you wash them, follow basic laundry logic and don’t wash the whites with the dark navy shirts (yes, I might have been lazy enough to do that). It only bled slightly, but still. I know better…..
3.) Use the enclosed cardboard underneath while you are coloring to prevent any bleeding through on your T-shirt.
4.) Put on a fun chick flick or comedy. You know what’s even more relaxing than coloring? Coloring and watching a flick at the same time! Might I suggest….Austenland perhaps? Coloring will take 1.5-2 hours, so that’s perfect for a movie night!
Oh! And here’s a little secret: If you sign up for their newsletter, you can get 25% off! You’re welcome. 🙂
