If you were around for my recent All-Fruit Popsicle Recipe, here’s a new one to balance things out. This definitely doesn’t meet the tab for “healthy recipe,” but my sister has been on spring break from college this week and came to hang out. And something about her being here makes us both revert to childhood and eat all kinds of cheeseburgers, milkshakes, and …. candy.
I’ll be upfront, these popsicles aren’t geared for adults, they are definitely a kid thing. I’ve never been a fan of frozen gummies, but I will admit that the flavor they give the sprite is pretty yummy. We tried sour gummy worms, gummy bears, skittles, and swedish fish. I liked the flavoring the swedish fish gave the popsicles, but wasn’t a fan of the frozen swedish fish. The kids however, ate all of it.

As my daughters were eating their popsicles, I had the best idea ever. They love candy so much that if I used WATER instead of SPRITE and froze ONE piece of candy in the middle, they would probably eat and enjoy the whole ICE popsicle just to get to the piece of candy! Do you know what this means? 10 minutes of sanity for me, and 1 gummy bear for them! It’s going to be a great summer!
