How to Make Photo Gift Tags (great for kids that can’t read yet)

My girls were 1 & 3 last year, so I made photo gift tags for their gifts, so that on Christmas morning as we took turns opening, they could run over to the Christmas tree and find a gift that was for them by looking for their photo on the present. Last year however, I didn’t make them into photo stickers, and I hand-cut all of them.

Elf code #0937, when young kids are in the house, Santa uses pictures on his gift tags, not letters :)

I highly advise not doing what I did last year, although at the time I thought I was brilliant. This year I printed them onto stickers and it was the easiest thing in the world. If you do presents from both Santa AND mom and dad, you can also put a photo sticker in the “from” section. Just get a clipart image of Santa and a fun picture of mom and dad and use them accordingly.Photo Gift Tag Sticker Tutorial. These are super easy to make and are great for kids that can't read yet (they can quickly see who's gift is for who)

I printed my photos onto Avery Circle Sticker labels. They have tons of other sizes, so don’t feel like you have to make them as large as I made mine. You can make little ones too. You don’t have to do circles either, that’s just what I wanted.

How to make your own personalized gift tag stickers (Extra awesome for kids that can't read yet. They can quickly tell who's gift is for who)

The best part about the labels is there a template ready for you, you just have to upload your pictures. Last year I spent all this time editing the photos and cropping them into circle shapes. Silly. If you don’t want to print onto stickers, but you want to use the easy template, go to the Avery website and use template for the product # 5294. Then just print onto regular paper 🙂

Turn photos into gift tag stickers so kids to make the gifts fun and easy for the kids to know which present is for who

From start to finish, this probably took me 10 minutes. Just upload your photos and print! All you have to do after that is peel off your sticker and attach to some cute and festive gift tags!
