I’m excited to start a section of the blog specifically for young women handouts. Please join our group Pinterest board and and lets share our ideas with each other! Here is my handout that I used from this last week’s lesson.
To start the lesson, I had the girls suck on Miracle Frootie Tablets (they change your taste perception so that sour things taste sweet), and then we all started eating lemons, limes, and grapefruits.
We then talked about how even though the lemons may initially taste sweet, it is still a lemon…and once the tablet wears off, it will be sour and bitter (like sin). We then talked about things that the world tries to convince us are “sweet,” when really they will “sour” our lives.
We briefly discussed how Satan tries to tempt us with sour things by making them appear “sweet” or “fun” or “desireable” (similar to how he tempted Adam & Eve).
At home with the kids? Instantly access any of these printable activity bundles to keep them learning!
We then discussed the Atonement and how it brings the “sweet” back into our lives.
If you don’t have access to miracle tablets, you could use Lemon Heads candy since they have both a sweet and sour aspect to them.
Here’s the handout I made for the lesson:

I’d love to hear your ideas for this month’s Come Follow Me lessons on the Atonement!
