National Geographic Review +Blog Hop #20

I want to start this week's blog hop with a fun review & Giveaway!

I had the awesome opportunity to review some fun books from National Geographic! I turn down a lot of review opportunities, but if you know how much I love children's books…you'll know why I couldn't pass this one up!

National Geographic has  funded more than 10,000 conservation, exploration, and scientific expeditions in support of their mission “to inspire people to care about the planet.”  Now, that's cool!  I remember seeing the National Geographic magazine growing up, and I knew they had a magazine for kids, but I had no idea they have a bunch of children's books! Their books are a part of their mission to inspire kids and teach them about nature and Earth and animals and all sorts of fun stuff.

These books would make awesome stocking stuffers, or aids for homeschooling.

At home with the kids? Instantly access any of these printable activity bundles to keep them learning!

Our favorites of the books we received were:

Kids First Big Book of Why ( These first 2 are Really sturdy hard-cover books, & would not fit in an average stocking)

Ultimate Weird But True

Everything Pets (My daughter is really into animals right now)

Where to Buy: You can buy National Geographic books wherever you typically buy books: Bookstores, Toy Stores, Online Retailers (Amazon, etc.).  FOR A LIMITED TIME you can get them discounted at ngbooks.org/momsmeet!

I'd also like to GIVEAWAY one of these books to one of you today!  Again, no selling your soul to enter, just comment below! Tell me what your favorite thing is about Thanksgiving and you are entered.  EASY!

Please “Like” National Geographic on Facebook, or follow them on Twitter @NatGeoBooks.

I received this product for free from the sponsor of the Moms Meet program, May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. Opinions are my own.

I'm six-foot tall mother of three and I'm enjoying the view! I'm currently fighting a battle with Lyme disease and am determined to come out victorious. I enjoy warm summer rain, peanut butter everything, having dance parties with my husband and kids, natural remedies and healthy living. Most days I'm just looking for another excuse to avoid the piles of laundry.

My favorite thing is that it is so easy, I don’t mind the cooking at all. I make traditional foods, my family and friends gather, and we spend a wonderful day visiting, eating and playing. Perfect for a grandmothers soul 🙂
