Both Surprize for girls and Surprize for boys have rubber soles ensuring durability, flexible outsoles allowing an agile, natural step and growth, and memory foam footbeds for maximum comfort! Here’s just a few of this year’s styles:Before you head into the store, I wanted to give a few tips on measuring your kid’s foot at home so that you can make sure you get all the right sizes for your kids shoes this school year. Because some kids can grow up to a half-size every 3 months, it’s important to measure their foot prior to every shoe purchase! No worries, it’s super easy.

How to Measure Your Child’s Shoe Size at Home
- Place a sheet of paper against the wall and have your child place their foot on the paper, with the heel touching the wall. Mark a line on the paper marking the top of the longest toe.
- Make sure to measure both feet to make sure one isn’t a different size than the other. Use a size guide to determine size.
- You can also print off a sizing guide from the internet (Stride Rite has one on their site).
- If you have an iPad, Stride Rite also has an app that will help you measure your child’s foot size. It’s called RiteFit. Here’s a screenshot from my iPad:
