It's back to school shopping season! And with that, I have good news for all you Surprize by Stride Rite lovers! You can now get this comfy, durable shoe at Target! Woot! I bought my 3-year old a pair last week as part of our back-to-school shopping. She has literally been asking me every day when preschool starts!

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Stride Rite for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you haven't heard of Stride Rite before, Surprize is an exclusive line of cute and comfy shoes for kids ages 6 months to 4 years old. Both Surprize for girls and Surprize for boys have rubber soles ensuring durability, flexible outsoles allowing an agile, natural step and growth, and memory foam footbeds for maximum comfort! Here's just a few of this year's styles:Stride RiteBefore you head into the store, I wanted to give a few tips on measuring your kid's foot at home so that you can make sure you get all the right sizes for your kids shoes this school year. Stride Rite Shoes   Because some kids can grow up to a half-size every 3 months, it's important to measure their foot prior to every shoe purchase! No worries, it's super easy.

How to Measure Your Child's Shoe Size at Home

How to

  • Place a sheet of paper against the wall and have your child place their foot on the paper, with the heel touching the wall.  Mark a line on the paper marking the top of the longest toe.
  • Make sure to measure both feet to make sure one isn't a different size than the other. Use a size guide to determine size.
  • You can also print off a sizing guide from the internet (Stride Rite has one on their site).
  • If you have an iPad, Stride Rite also has an app that will help you measure your child's foot size. It's called RiteFit. Here's a screenshot from my iPad:

Both of my girls wore Stride Rites when they were toddlers. They were the only shoe that was consistently sized for them!

These shoes are so cute! I never used Stride Rite when my kids were little because at the time I didn’t know about them, but I hear they have great shoes for kids.
