What to Look for in a Pack ‘n Play or Play Yard

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Fisher-Price for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

It is SUMMER!  I live for this warm weather. . . and with this weather comes SWIMMING, watermelon, lemonade, and kids that stay up way to late! FIsher Price Play Yard Thus this last week, we went swimming at my grandpa’s community pool.  I haven’t been here in years and when we pulled up it brought back a flood of my childhood memories.  Diving boards, playing categories, water toys, pizza by the pool, grandpa watching, cousins all around, and babies sunbathing in pack & plays. Since I was at this pool with my own kids (crazy), we had to re-live all my memories.  We had such a great time and wore out all the little kiddos in sight. We ate pizza, threw all the water toys in the pool, splashed and splashed with my two year old, and was so grateful to have my 5 month old hang’n out in the Fisher-Price Play Yard. Morning Cloud Play Yard We just recently received the play yard; perfect timing.  It was fabulous, and a major upgrade from the ones I remember having all my small little cousins in. FIsher Price Play Yard Colors are a big deal in why I choose a product.  I want simple clean soft colors… something that won’t yell… I have children all over my house. (Not that I don’t love bright colors every now and again).  But, I love the soft grey tones and fun subtle patterns. FIsher Price Play Yard Night Not only do I love the colors, but this Play yard is HALF the weight of the other play yards I’ve used in the past!  Thus it’s full name is the Ultra-Lite Day & Night Play Yard. Ultra-Light Play Yard Another great feature about this Fisher-Price Play Yard is the inclined sleeper.  It has a supportive seat back, cushioned head support, and my favorite, a three-point restraint that keeps my baby comfortable, secure and gently inclined. Now, Papa was eating watermelon, tending the baby, and watching us all swim, but it was an added comfort to me knowing that she was all buckled in, and inclined perfectly so she could see him. Fisher Price Morning Cloud Play Yard I Love her Lips in this Photo… Sorry… Proud Mama moment!Fisher Price Morning Cloud Play Yard All in all, Summer Pool PARTIES are the best, and they are made even more simple when a Play Yard like this is included.  It was great for everything: Napping, Sleeping, Playing and Changing on the go. Ultra-Light Play YardYes, this little portable changing clutch was actually a great added bonus.  I had forgotten my diaper bag in another car and this little clutch came in handy.  An added sided pocket holds the clutch in place, and theres a pocket for diapers and wipes. FIsher Price Ultra Light Play Yard It’s Easy to fold and everything fits into one small travel bag for easy portability.  When I took it out of the travel bag… I was truly completely SURPRISED to see how easy it was to open and put together.  It almost did all the work for me. Stay Tune, because we are going to show you just how simple & easy it is to assemble in an upcoming post.  It’s easier than changing a diaper, making baby food… and definitely easier than putting a child to sleep.   FIsher Price Play Yard Ultra Light Just imagine how your next pool parties will be with this new Fisher-Price Ultra Lite Day & Night Play Yard (that you can Purchase at Walmart). It’s for sure a must have!

I had a pack n play for my son and it was super convenient. He loved it! I gave it away, so I’ll need a new setup for my next baby.

This is just what I was looking for. I’m 32 weeks along and just barely getting things ready.

That looks like an awesome playard! They really are life savers, especially when traveling to have a nice safe place for baby! I love how much nicer they are now than even years ago when my other kids were babies.

That’s an awesome playyard. I love that it’s half the weight. Mine always weighed a ton. This is really convenient, especially with our 2 story house.
