A Year’s Worth of Scavenger Hunts for Kids

It wasn't until halfway through the day today that I realized it was St. Patrick's Day. At first I had the dashing thought of, “awe man…I didn't do a green breakfast! Maybe I could do something creative for dinner…”

And that thought was quickly murdered with the next thought: “awe well. I guess there's always next year!”

It's just so much easier to have motivation when I am prepared ahead of time. Any of you that have been with me from the beginning of my blogging days, might remember that I started something called “the Mommy Book.” This is where I gather fun ideas & printables from Pinterest and store them in a physical location.

The purpose is so that they are ready to go. So many times I will pin something only to forget about it, but if I actually print it out then the likelihood of doing that activity with my kids has increased by like 99%.

At home with the kids? Instantly access any of these printable activity bundles to keep them learning!

Well…I've been slacking. But I really, really want to keep it going because motherhood is so fun for me when I am planning and carrying out fun things to do with my kids.

So…as a way to keep it going, I will be posting something every Monday that I am adding to my “motherhood resources.” I'd love for you to join me in creating you own “mommy book” (or filing cabinet, or whatever).

This week I am featuring fun Scavenger Hunts for Kids. What kid doesn't LOVE scavenger hunts? And the hardest part for us parents is simply PRINTING THEM OUT! So I'm making things easy for you today! Just print them out all at once and store them away so that you have enough scavenger hunt activities to last you all year. Your kids will totally think you're rockin'!

I'm six-foot tall mother of three and I'm enjoying the view! I'm currently fighting a battle with Lyme disease and am determined to come out victorious. I enjoy warm summer rain, peanut butter everything, having dance parties with my husband and kids, natural remedies and healthy living. Most days I'm just looking for another excuse to avoid the piles of laundry.

These are really fun, but most of them are treasure hunts, not scavenger hunts.:)
